Take your child’s soccer skills to the next level with the Pleasant Dale Park District 1st–2nd Grade Youth Soccer League! Designed for emerging players ready for more structured gameplay, this recreational soccer program helps young athletes develop stronger fundamentals, improve coordination, and gain confidence on the field.

Guided by volunteer parent coaches, participants will learn essential soccer techniques, positional play, teamwork, and sportsmanship—all while having fun and staying active. The 1st–2nd Grade Soccer League includes one weeknight practice each week, followed by competitive yet friendly Saturday soccer games that allow players to apply what they’ve learned.

Players registered before July 12th will receive their official team soccer uniform before the first game, helping them feel like part of the team right from the start. Every participant will also take home a league trophy at the season’s conclusion, celebrating their growth and accomplishments.

Fall Soccer registration deadline is Sunday, July 12th. Registrations taken after this date will be charged a $20 late registration fee, will be responsible for procuring their own league jersey (See notes below), and will not be granted a buddy request.

We are unable to accept requests for practice days/times and/or specific coaches on any registrations. After team rosters are assembled, each team will be assigned to a specific practice time based on volunteer coach preferences. Practices will be on weeknights between 4-8pm. Players that cannot attend their scheduled practice will not be moved to another team. Players that cannot attend their scheduled practice will be offered the opportunity to practice with another team at a more convenient time and will still play games on Saturdays with their original team.
