American Red Cross Babysitting

Babysitter’s Training gives youth caregivers the skills and confidence to care for children and infants safely and responsibly. Through hands-on activities, interactive video, and lively discussions, the course teaches young people how to:
• Care for children and infants.
• Be good leaders and role models.
• Make good decisions and solve problems.
• Keep the children they babysit and themselves safe.
• Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses, and household accidents.
• Write resumes and interview for jobs.
The training class is 7 hours long with breaks. Please plan to bring a lunch and a water bottle. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
This program is co-oped with Burr Ridge and Willowbrook Park Districts
